Midatlantic Storm Protection is an approved contractor for the SC Safe Home Grant Program, helping South Carolina homeowners secure up to $3,000 in hurricane protection funding. Here's how to apply: Watch video for step by step.

1. Register for Email Notifications NOW!!!
   Go to https://www.doi.sc.gov/605/SC-Safe-Home  and register your email to receive important updates when funding is available.  Watch Video above.
    
2. Wait for Enrollment Announcement
   Enrollment for new applications will open in July. The exact date and time will be emailed to the address you registered with.  Normally funding opens July 1st. 2025
    
3. Watch for the Application Link
   Once enrollment opens, you would have received  an email with a special link to begin your online application.
    
4. Complete the Application
   Click the link in the email and follow the instructions on the SC Safe Home website. You’ll need to upload documents such as:
    
   • Proof of homeownership
      
   • Proof of primary residence
      
   • Property insurance policy info
      
   • Tax return
      

1. Choose Your Contractor and Inspector
   When prompted, select Midatlantic Storm Protection as your inspector and contractor.
   We’ll take it from there—helping you through the inspection, estimates, and installation process.
